A short list, and your journal. That's the whole system.
This notice covers two things: the early-access mailbox, and the Metasyncer app itself. It's written to be read, not skimmed past. The short version: the early-access list holds your email and the answers you chose to give; your journal lives in your account; neither goes anywhere else, and both disappear when you say so.
Who is responsible
Metasyncer — run by its founder, who is the data controller and also the person who reads the mailbox. You reach us the same way you signed up: earlyaccess@metasyncer.com.
What we collect, and why
When you join the early-access list we hold your email address, the first name if you gave one, your answers to the optional questions, and where you came from: the tags on the link you followed (such as which social network or campaign), the website that sent you, and whether you joined on a phone or a computer. No cookies are set for this. We use them to invite traders in small groups and, now and then, to ask what you'd like built next. No newsletter, no drip sequence, no remarketing, no selling.
The legal basis
Your consent: you ask to join, then confirm with the link in our email (nothing is sent to you before that confirmation except that one email). You can withdraw it at any time (see "Deletion" below), and withdrawing has no downside beyond not hearing from us.
How long we keep it
Until launch or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first — and never longer than 12 months without an invitation or a reply. After that, we delete it without being asked.
Who else sees it
Nobody. We don't share, sell, rent, or pass your address to anyone. No profiling, no scoring, no automated decisions. And these pages carry no analytics, no cookies, and no trackers — the fonts are served from this site, not a third party, so opening this page tells no one anything. If you switch between light and dark, the choice is remembered in your browser's own storage on this device; it is never sent to us. (The app is different — it needs one cookie to keep you signed in; see below.)
Deletion
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you (your list entry), have it corrected, or have it erased — write to the address above. If you think we've handled your data badly, you can complain to your local data-protection authority; we'd appreciate hearing it from you first.
In the app
When you use the app (it needs an account), it keeps what it needs to work, and nothing for advertising or profiling. In plain terms:
One session cookie. A random token (named msid) that keeps you signed
in. With "Stay signed in for a week" ticked it lasts up to 7 days and is renewed while you use the app; unticked, it ends when you close the browser. If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your email address and that it is verified — nothing else is kept. There are no other
cookies, no analytics and no trackers in the app either.
Your journal. Your account email and a hashed password (never the password itself); your rules and their versions; your plans, what the gate decided and why; the trades from your connected or imported history; your reviews, notes, tags, reflections and chart snapshots; your settings. This is the product — it's stored so you can see it.
Your broker password, sealed. If you connect an MT5 account, the password is encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and used only to sign your cloud terminal in. We never show it, export it or use it for anything else. Remove the account and the sealed password is deleted.
Session details. For each signed-in session we keep the IP address and the browser's name (its user-agent), so you can see your sessions in Account and revoke one you don't recognise. Revoke a session and its record goes with it.
How long. As long as your account exists — and you can read and export it at any time. Database backups roll over after about two days, so deleted data leaves the backups within that time.
Export and deletion. In Account → Your data, Export data gives you your journal as a file, any time. Delete account erases your profile, journal, history, rules, sealed passwords and sessions. Your broker account itself is never touched.
Who sees it. Nobody but you, and the founder when you ask for help or when keeping the service running requires it. We don't sell, share or rent any of it.
