Refunds

Seven days free. Cancel any time. Refunds within 14 days.

This covers the Starter and Pro plans: the free trial, cancelling, and when we give your money back. Prices are in US dollars and charged by Stripe, our payment processor.

Cancel before your 7-day trial ends and you are never charged. Charged by mistake? Write within 14 days of the charge and we refund it in full.

The 7-day trial

Each plan starts with a 7-day trial. You add a card at the start, and nothing is charged during the trial. If you cancel before it ends, you pay nothing and your card is never charged. If you don't cancel, the plan you chose is charged at the end of day 7, then every month or year, as you picked. One trial per account.

Cancelling

In the app, go to Account → Plan → Manage billing → Cancel. We don't ask why, and there's no offer screen to click past. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, then stops. Nothing renews after that.

When we refund

Refunds never depend on your trading results. Metasyncer checks your own rules; it doesn't promise any outcome.

Changing plans

Switch between Starter and Pro in Manage billing. Stripe credits the unused part of your current plan against the new one, so you pay only the difference. Moving down leaves a credit on your account for future charges.

If a payment fails

Stripe retries a failed renewal over a few days, and your plan keeps working while it does. If every retry fails, the plan ends. You owe nothing more, and your journal stays readable and exportable.

What never depends on your plan

Closing or reducing an open trade always works, whatever your plan or payment status. Reading and exporting your journal keep working too.

How to ask for a refund

Email info@metasyncer.com from your account's email address, with the date of the charge. We reply within 2 working days. The refund goes back to the card you paid with, and banks usually take 5–10 working days to show it.
