Plain terms for Metasyncer affiliates.
These terms apply when you join the Metasyncer affiliate programme by invitation. They cover your link and code, how you earn, how and when we pay, and how you may talk about Metasyncer. Questions before you accept? Write to info@metasyncer.com.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are between Metasyncer, 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, United States ("Metasyncer", "we") and the person or business named in your invitation ("you").
The programme is by invitation. There is no public sign-up, and we may limit how many affiliates take part at a time. You accept these terms by replying to the invitation email with "I accept" or by signing them. We record the date.
2. What Metasyncer is, so you can describe it accurately
Metasyncer is a trading journal for MetaTrader 5 that you can also trade from. Before an order goes out through Metasyncer, it checks the trader's own written rules (the pre-trade gate), and it can pause new orders for a time the trader set. Closing or reducing a position is never blocked.
Metasyncer does not give trading advice, signals or trade ideas, and it does not make anyone profitable. It checks process and risk maths, never whether a trade is a good idea. When you join, we send you a short brief with wording you may use.
3. Your link and your code
You get one link (https://metasyncer.com/r/YOURCODE) and one code. Both stay valid for as long
as you are an affiliate.
Your audience gets a plain, permanent discount off their Metasyncer plan. The percentage is in your invitation. It never expires, and you must never present it as limited in time or quantity.
How we credit a sign-up to you. When someone opens your link, our server adds one to that day's click count (a single number, with no identifier) and sends them to our waitlist with your code on the link. If they join and later create an account, the account is credited to you, and your code goes onto their checkout when they choose a plan. We use no cookies, no tracking scripts and no device fingerprinting for this programme, and we will not add any.
- First touch counts. Someone already credited to another affiliate stays with that affiliate.
- Same queue for everyone. Your traffic joins the same waitlist as everyone else, and invitations go out in batches. Nobody skips the queue through your link, and you must not say or imply that they can.
- Discounts never stack. If someone already has a benefit from us (for example free months), they keep it and your code is recorded but not applied. You still earn on what they pay.
4. Commission
You earn 20% of the net subscription revenue we receive from each person credited to you, for the first 12 months after their first paid invoice.
"Net subscription revenue" is what the person actually paid on a Metasyncer subscription invoice, after the audience discount and any other discount, minus sales tax or VAT, and minus the payment processor's fee where it is known. Refunds and disputes are taken off (section 5).
You earn nothing on:
- a free trial that never becomes a paid invoice;
- invoices paid more than 12 months after that person's first paid invoice;
- anything that is not a subscription, such as a one-off credit;
- your own account or any account you control (section 6).
Commission is never based on trading activity. You are never paid per trade, lot, order or deposit, and you must not encourage anyone to trade more.
Your rate is fixed for everyone credited to you while these terms apply. If we offer different terms to later affiliates, that never changes the rate for people already credited to you. We never change a rate retroactively.
5. Holding period, clawbacks and payment
- 30-day hold. Each earning is held for 30 days from the day the invoice was paid, then becomes payable.
- Refunds and disputes. If an invoice you earned on is refunded, we take back the same share of your earning (a 50% refund takes back 50% of what that invoice earned you). If a payment is disputed, we take back the rest of what that invoice earned you. If it was already paid to you, the amount comes off your next payment.
- Monthly payment. We pay once a month, by Wise or PayPal, the balance that is past its holding period. A balance under US$50 rolls over to the next month. You give us your payment details and the tax information we need. You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn.
6. No self-referral
You cannot earn on yourself. We pay no commission on an account that uses your email address, an account you own or control, or a payment card we have seen on your own Metasyncer account. Getting around this, for example with new email addresses or by asking someone to sign up for you, is a breach of these terms.
7. Statements
Each month we send you a statement with clicks on your link, sign-ups, paid conversions, earnings, clawbacks, what is payable and what was paid. Statements are totals only: we never tell you who signed up or who paid, and you must not try to find out.
8. How you promote Metasyncer
Disclose the relationship. Say clearly, near every endorsement, that you earn a commission from Metasyncer, so people see it before or with the endorsement, in the same language, without clicking "more". This follows the US FTC Endorsement Guides and, for UK audiences, the ASA's CAP Code ("Ad" or "#ad" at the start).
Disclose broker ties. If you have an introducing-broker or any other paid relationship with a broker or prop firm, say so wherever you mention Metasyncer alongside that broker or firm.
When you talk about Metasyncer, you must not:
- claim or imply that Metasyncer makes anyone profitable, or make any earnings or income claim about it;
- show P&L screenshots, balances or equity curves next to Metasyncer, or as a result of using it;
- make claims about copy-trading performance;
- use statistics without a source anyone can check, including folklore figures such as "95% of traders fail";
- create urgency or scarcity: no countdowns, "last chance", "today only", "price going up" or "only a few spots left";
- say or imply that your link skips the waitlist;
- target anyone under 18, or publish where most of the audience is under 18;
- present yourself as Metasyncer, or use our name or mark in a way that suggests you are us;
- buy ads on our brand name, send unsolicited messages, or use cookies, scripts or redirects to claim sign-ups you did not refer;
- show signals, trade calls or set-ups together with Metasyncer.
First piece approved, then spot checks. Send your first piece of content that mentions Metasyncer to us and wait for approval before you publish. After that we check content from time to time. You fix or take down anything we ask you to.
9. Ending
A breach of section 6 or section 8 ends your affiliate status straight away, and you lose any unpaid commission, held or payable. Your code stops working for new people; people already using the discount keep it.
Either of us can end these terms by email with 30 days' notice, and we may end the programme for everyone with the same notice. Commission you have already earned stays payable on the normal schedule, and people already credited to you keep earning you commission for the rest of their 12 months, as long as you have not breached these terms. The rules on fixed rates, payment, clawbacks and private statements continue after the end.
10. Other
Changes. We may change these terms for the future with 30 days' notice by email. A change never lowers the rate for people already credited to you. Every change is dated below.
Independence. You are an independent business, not our employee, agent or partner.
Liability. Each of us is responsible for our own content and conduct. As far as the law allows, our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the commission paid or payable to you in the 12 months before the claim, and neither of us is liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits a right the law does not allow us to limit.
Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Disputes. If we disagree about these terms, we settle it in this order:
- Talk first. Either of us writes to the other with the details, and we try in good faith to settle it by email within 30 days.
- Small claims. Either of us may take a claim that fits a small-claims court there instead.
- Then arbitration. Anything not settled goes to binding arbitration administered by the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR) under its International Arbitration Rules, before one arbitrator, in English, held online or on documents unless the arbitrator decides a hearing in person is needed. The seat of arbitration is Wilmington, Delaware. Each of us pays our own costs unless the arbitrator decides otherwise, and the award can be enforced in any court that has jurisdiction.
- Individual claims only. Claims are brought individually, never as a class, collective or group action.
